Order Options (3):

  • Option 1 – 60W Transformer Kit = £80
  • Option 2 – 100W Transformer Kit = £120
  • Option 3 – 120W Transformer Kit = £140

 

Fitting:

  • 2x 4M Cables are supplied, thus creating a 4000mm height
  • Any excessive height, can be cut-out using a standard snippers

 

Which Transformer Kit?

  • Deciding on the wanted Transformer Kit (60w, 100w,120w)
  • This is based on the number of LED Panels used on each drop
  • Example – 4x A4 (4x 8 Watts) = 32 Watts = ’60W Kit’ = OK
  • Example – 4x A3 (4x 10 Watts) = 40 Watts = ’60W Kit = OK
  • If you plan is to create a daisy chain connection = 100W & 120W

 

The Golden Rule:

  • Select the transformer that gives you a cushion factor of 25% of power
  • Otherwise, the transformer will possibly fail….

Advice 1
1. Base it on the power usage of your LED’s per drop
2. Key advice – use 1x Transformer per displayed drop
3. Example 1 = 4x A4 LED’s – use 6Wx4 = 24W (60W is OK)
4. Example 1 = 4x A3 LED’s – use 10Wx4 = 40W (60W is OK)
5. The Golden Rule – ALWAYS Over Estimate the wanted transformer power!

Advice 2
1. IF you plan to power up 2x displays with only 1x transformer
2. Example 1 = 2x drops of 4x A4 LED’s – use 8Wx8 = 64W (100W is OK)
3. Example 2 = 3x drops of 4x A4 LED’s – use 8Wx12 = 96W (120W is OK)
4. Example 3 = 2x drops of 4x A3 LED’s – use 10Wx8 = 80W (120W is OK)
5. Example 4 = 3x drops of 4x A3 LED’s – use 10Wx12 = 96W (NOT OK)
