LED Light Strips – Power Drivers

Power Drivers are required to power up LED Strip Lights, buying the correct Driver is vital so, here is some very useful information

If a LED Driver is required for ‘WHITE LED’ Strips:

WHITE LED Strips demand 10W of power per 1x Metre length – hence if you are powering up say 10x metres you require a 100W Power Driver – so, let’s assume you are adding LEDs to a rectangle room and it needs 40x Metres of WHITE LED Light Strips, you will gain a demand of 400W, so you will need 2x 200W Drivers – or – 1x 300W & 1x 100W drivers

If a LED Driver is required for ‘RGB LED’ Strips:

RGB LED Strips demand 20W of power per 1x Metre length – hence if you are powering up say 10x metres you require a 200W Power Driver – so, let’s assume you are adding LEDs to a rectangle room and it needs 40x Metres of RGB LED Light Strips, you will gain a demand of 800W, so you will need 4x 200W Drivers – or – 2x 300W & 1x 200W drivers

Easy Ordering Process:

As we the suppliers are not 100% sure what the clients actual LED length is, we are offering 6x Power Drivers, as these normally cover all the clients wanted needs… 60W, 100W, 150W, 200W, 240W, 320W – just ensure you read the above examples for White & RGB Light Strips
